Subject: Southern Weyr's First Clutch!
Talicanitath has been getting larger and larger, some say the gold dragon's distended girth is much bigger than it has ever been before. Is it due to the long, arduous flight? Perhaps the dire need to fill out the ranks? The fact that Thread is a mere few turns away from falling once more? Perhaps a combination of all those and more. Regardless, bets have already begun on the number of eggs that the Senior queen will clutch.
Needless to say, it was no surprise to the Weyr as a whole as a trumpet erupted through the entirety of Southern in the very beginning of the morning. Rousing all residents from their beds, there was a mad dash to see Talicanitath depositing a third egg already. Cheers erupted in the galleries for the first clutch to sit upon the sands of Southern Weyr for many, many turns!
Throughout the entirety of the day, Talicanitath will clutch her eggs. In the end, 34 eggs will be laid out with very pleased and proud clutchparents guarding their brood.
The larger size of the clutch have many people congratulating both Q'fex and Lendai, calling it a good omen for the new Southern Weyr's future!
OOC: Talicanitath will be laying her clutch all day today, July 18th! Feel free to filter in and out of the galleries to watch and cheer her along! Remember, this is an NPC clutch so that means no PC candidates will be impressing. However, If you want to be a candidate for this NPC Clutch and be left standing, @send *sws!
