Subject: What Doesn't Go Up…
"What's gotten into Khalyssrielth and Dhiammarath?"
"Not eggs, mate."
That — and other, raunchier versions of the same — have been filtrating around Southern for the last several sevendays. As the Turn marches on, it becomes more obvious that neither queen will be rushed into rising to mate.
But with it comes an interesting, eclectic wave of transfers into Southern. It could be from weyrs suffering blight… or it could be from the Weyrleader and his staff's supposed, slyly underhanded recruiting efforts in the North. Whatever the case, there's a strange slide of dragonriders into the ranks of Southern, swelling wings back to full size. Does it have anything to do with the strange construction going on behind the weyr cove? (What's going on back there, anyhow?)
Southern. Stranger and stranger.
OOC: Feel free to gossip about lazy golds unimpressed with the band of bronzes they've collected, or the mixed group of dragonriders fleeing the North for Southern's shores (and for anyone thinking about making a dragonrider insta, now is the time! Built-in hooks!), or the strange construction efforts back of the cove. (Seriously, what's going on back there?)
