Description

Lean and strong, this bartender boasts a tan form weathered from sun and spirits over the last few turns baking beneath Igen sun and its booze-heavy underbelly. Dark curls are shoulder length, typically left loose, though they often are pulled up into a high bun during his shifts in an effort to beat the heat. Facial hair is scruffy and shadowed, creeping along chin and cheeks in a slightly bristled milieu of style. Dark eyes are large and liquid, peering out from beneath pronounced brows.

Common Knowledge

Alder is a smooth-talking, good-looking, cocky narcissist. That being said, he was a Bazaar brat and is well known around the stalls. He's certainly got his fair connections on the sunny and shady side of the marketplace, but despite his nature, he's well-tolerated.

He's a good bartender with a knack for making and protecting the confidence of customers at the Cantina.

The man can hold his liquor and throw a mean game of darts.

Relationships

He's got connections since childhood in the Bazaar, a few friends he'll spend his evenings with when he's not working. He's always got a few pans on the burner, so to speak, when it comes to romantic relationships. He's not much for monogamy though he does believe in well-earned loyalty. It just seems that romantically that whole 'well-earned' part has never entitled anyone to his full attention.

History

Alder grew up in the Bazaar to a father who trained in the pits and a mother who sold wares in the market. He was never much for size and muscle, so it was clear from an early age that he wouldn't be stepping into the ring under the training of his father. He was, however, gifted at putting people at ease, and could gather information. He hung around the pits learning what he could, and also helped out his mother in her stall. Between the two worlds he grew to flow freely amidst the underbelly and the legitimate business the Bazaar offered.

Taking a job as a bartender was a no brainer for Alder. He worked his way up from a barback position and has never looked back. His access to loose tongues and interesting people keeps him dedicated to the job. It also affords him unconventional hours, which he enjoys, and a sense of freedom that comes from booze, ladies, and late nights.
