Description

Healthy. That could be one way to describe Junipa at a quick glance. Her height is just a tinge above average, while her physique is of someone who stays quite fit. Her shoulders and arms also tell the tale of just how fit this woman stays, as they hold a definition upon them which denotes the sleek muscle beneath the skin. While this might make the woman seem somewhat top-heavy, that muscularity is thankfully not overly-bulky, just definitely visible and present. The rest of Junipa is quite average; a pretty enough oval face with brown eyes, a slightly crooked nose and full lips. Her hair reaches well past her shoulders and is a chestnut brown in color. Often (like today) her hair is pulled up into a messy, or sloppy knot. If she's at work, Junipa can often be found wearing a thick linen head wrap, that protects her hair from the fires of the forge.

This woman wears simple and well-worn clothing. Her upper body is covered in a light linen shirt, dyed a deep black, and covering her lower body is an equally pair of dark linen pants. Perhaps oddly, little pinpricks of holes can be seen dotting her sleeves and if one looks close enough they'll be able to see the damage to the shirt was obviously made by something hot or flame related. When at work, Junipa can be seen wearing a heavy leather apron, that covers from chest to just before the knees. Heavy boots also protect her feet for when she's working. Upon her shoulder sits a knot depicting her a Journeyman Smith.

Common Knowledge

Junipa is one of the newer Smith's here at Igen Weyr. Word is she's a prickly pear, especially to those of the opposite sex.

Her specialty is gemworking and jewelry making, with a side of metal smithing.

Relationships

History

• Born at Telgar Hold.
• Apprenticed to the Smith Craft Hall.
• Found the craft to be quite conservative towards women which she didn't like.
• Had some trouble along the way, which resulted in her crooked nose.
• Eventually she walked the apprentice tables to become a Journeyman.
• Exiled to Igen Weyr for fighting with a small-minded Master of her Craft.
