Description

Mal is tall for a woman, long of limb and accustomed to being at least eye to eye with most people. Her complexion is translucently pale, but marked with a smattering of dark freckles across her sharp cheekbones, echoed on her arms and shoulders. Her eyes are hazel, deep set in a heart-shaped face with fine features. Malaia's hair cascades in long chestnut waves, picking up copper glints in direct light. When at rest she appears elegant, but she is rarely still, usually brimming with surpressed energy that manifests itself in expansive gestures and purposeful motions.
Mal dresses for comfort, clad in a long plain sheath dress of simple beige material. The collar and cuffs, however, are accented with bright embroidery, as is her flowing headscarf. Rather loud stockings peep from beneath worn boots, and a hide jacket or light tunic, depending on the temperature, is worn over the dress, looking a little bit out of place. She wears a pouch at her hip, from which needles and colorful yarn or thread are often spilling.
