Dressed simply, Riayne typically dresses comfortably and with only a few trappings of fashion and femininity. She can't eschew girlishness entirely, giving in to the lure of style here and there, but she usually sticks to comfortable fabrics and cuts that wear easily rather than alluringly. Most of the time, she wears pants rather than skirts, with cream-colored blouses and a few trinkets: bangle-bracelets on her left hand, a long necklace made of polished stones or glass beads. Her hair hangs loose to the middle of her back, wavy rather than outright curly.

One would hope she's dressed for work. Otherwise, Riayne has a pretty bizarre sense of fashion. Her pants are plain brown, rather unflattering as they fit a little loosely, and her blouse isn't much more appealing in a shade of beige with pretty much no decoration about it. Over these, she wears a long apron that's streaked here and there with - why, yes, those are splatters of blood. No jewelry and only simple shoes finish off this oh-so-attractive ensemble, with her hair pulled back into a simple braid that hangs down to the middle of her back.

It's not super feminine, but Riayne does actually own at least one summer-dress, proven by the fact that she's wearing it right now. The dress has a patternless dye palate in turquoise, bright green, and white, the colors seeping into one another throughout the lightweight cotton that allows some measure of relief from the Southern heat. Ribbon-straps tie over her shoulders, with a straight neckline and a natural waist that leads to a calf-length skirt. Her sandals aren't special, simple brown leather, but they're at least more dainty than sturdy. Silver barrettes with green-glass gems on them pull her hair back from her face, letting it hang in loose waves to the middle of her back, the barrettes themselves matched by the same geometric-style gems on her necklace, the jewelry cheap but pretty-ish.

Winter makes for layers, and Riayne is on board with this. Her undershirt is dark red cotton, long-sleeved and close-fitting, visible at the collar and the sleeves beneath a chunky-knit sweater in a purple-and-red yarn. Her skirt is made of a heavier wool that reaches just below her calves, a simple a-line with only the trace of a ruffle to it; although the skirt is plain black, it's deficiency of pattern is atoned for by her socks, which are made of vibrant red, purple, black, and white stripes that probably reach up to at least her knees beneath the hem of her skirt. Simple black shoes and some bangle-bracelets finish her attire when indoors. When outdoors, she adds a black wool coat, a vibrantly knitted scarf to match the socks, and a cap. Her hair hangs in loose waves to the middle of her back, unadorned.
