Description

The term 'pretty boy' has likely been applied plenty of times when giving T'zaim a once-over, despite what Thread decided to do to the left side of his face. With tidy features and blue eyes, he's hard-pressed to shed that pretty first impression, although the scar that runs down from his forehead, across his left eyebrow, and then dives back across the top of his ear (which is completely missing the upper curve) certainly helps lessen the clean-cut-nice-boy image. His sandy brown hair grows long enough to touch the tops of his ears and sweep across his forehead to his eyebrows - coincidentally covering a good bit of those scars - and he keeps a scruffily short beard. Of necessity, he has a dragonrider's physique, though even that isn't exactly hard-edged (evidence that he may not be as inclined toward strident physical training as some). Nature was kind enough to put him at six feet tall, and training gave him a pleasant, accentless speaking voice.

Common Knowledge

Not So Common Knowledge

  • Thezaim joined the Harper Hall at the age of 13 and walked the tables at the age of 20.
    • (If anyone has characters that were at Harper Hall during this era - from about 7 Turns prior to the Pass until about the start of the Pass - I'd love some history.)
  • He walked the tables right around the time he turned 20, and was posted for about four Turns in various riding circuits in the Telgar and High Reaches regions. He played guitar at the last Turnover of the Interval at Ista Hold's lavish celebratory Gather as part of his Journeyman project. Although he did actually play guitar at Turnover, his Journeyman project also involved his spending several months ahead of and behind the start of the Pass at Telgar Hold, sending regular reports back to the Hall regarding the atmosphere as Thread approached.
  • His "posting" to Southern Weyr was only temporary. With everything happening at the Weyr, it's understandable (perhaps) that the Hall would want eyes-and-ears nearby that really had no loyalty to the Weyr or its people, and could report on the goings-on without bias.
  • He might still be sending reports back to Harper Hall of the doings at Southern Weyr. Ahem.
