Question #11: Please feel free to use this space for any comments or concerns for EITHER the IC vote or the OOC vote.

Answers:

  • I can't wait to start playing the new plot.
  • I'd just like to comment on how freakin' awesome it is that everyone has really banded together and worked for a solution that works for everyone, not just /this/ angle or /that/ angle! It's so nice to see EVERYONE working together.
  • One thing I think that needs to be a little more clear is when can people start RPing stuff. Yes, there's a timeline, but waiting until April to get in "pre-scenes" keeps the game in a holding pattern. Assuming the change vote passes, it might be good to have a place for "RP topics of the week" to guide peole through this. A schedule is great, but this is almost like Weyrlinghood regimented in a way! So, "This week's RP/Vignette ideas" on the wiki would be *awesome* when the game plan is voted for!
  • While I am not necessarily against timing it, I think the plot has a lot of flaws. 1) The dragon population could be decimated because the Weyrs originally left. 2) People did survive, so it is not really a big apocalyptic event, and as such, the Oldtimers may be blamed (both then and "now") for abandoning Weyr, Hall and Craft to die when they could have helped. 3) It really is way too over the top.
I would rather just see Thread come early, or moving forward to help with Thread. Keep it simple. The more over the top you are, the more difficult it will be for people to adjust, and the more likely people will fall off once the excitement is over.
  • Still happy at how this is going! Glad we're all going to be discussing stuff, and sorry to be a brat and suggesting Fort but I haven't seen that utilized in awhile. I still like Igen just fine. Not sure what else to say here that I would not discuss in front of anyone anyway.
  • "I think there should also be a group of people who stay to try to mitigate the damage. That gives characters that won't be coming over a way to finish their stories, plus it makes sense that someone needs to stay and make sure there is even a future to move forward to.
