Subject: Threadfall Report - 9/30-10/6

With Firehead all set to sweep the Weyr, it's lucky for Southern that Thread decides to give us a break for the next three weeks. Fall over Southern Weyr happens to coincide with a windy day, which creates erratic conditions and leads to a death from Jaguar Wing. Then, of course, there's Thread to be faced over Black Rock Seahold itself - a hold currently under quarantine. Checking in with the hold afterward is probably almost as dangerous as fighting overhead, so that the sweepriders are under strict orders to keep a dozen paces away from any groundcrew, and to wear handkerchiefs over their mouths and noses. We can always hope that the two deaths from Liger Wing are the only casualties from Fall over this disease-infested seahold…
